The South Carolina Center for the Book, in partnership with the South Carolina Book Festival and Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A., announces “Brunching With Authors,” a special literary event on Sunday, February 25th, 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. “Brunching With Authors” will take place at the South Carolina State Museum on 301 Gervais Street in downtown Columbia and will feature a gourmet brunch eaten alongside an author. The winner of the 2007 Palmetto Book Award will also be recognized at this event.Author guests at “Brunching With Authors” come from a wide variety of literary backgrounds, including mystery, cookbooks, children’s literature, poetry, nonfiction, and general fiction. The guest list includes Jack Bass, James O. Born, Sonny Brewer, C. Michael Curtis, Elizabeth Cox, Nathalie Dupree, Karin Gillespie, Michele Martinez, Clarence Nero, Margot Theis Raven, George Singleton, Mark Turcotte, and Marjory Wentworth.
