Are you lost in the labyrinth of government and legal websites? Frustrated by long, fruitless searches for legal forms and government documents? Join the Public Library Section for a workshop that will teach you how to find the information that you and your patrons are looking for. Formapalooza! Mastering the Maze of Government and Legal Websites will show you where and how to access forms and other invaluable content on legal and government websites. Elaine Sandberg, State Library Reference Librarian, and Terrye Conroy, Reference Librarian at USC’s Coleman Karesh Law Library, will be your guides through state government, federal government, and legal websites.This workshop is appropriate for any and all library staff seeking to improve their legal and government reference skills. The workshop will be held in the pc training lab at the State Library from 10–3 on Tuesday, May 15. The cost is $25 for SCLA members, $30 for non-members, and lunch will be provided. The registration deadline is Friday, May 12. To register, fill out and submit a registration form along with payment.
